Product Details
Our coir fibre is extracted from mature coconut husks, retted in fresh water and machine combed to remove dust and short strands. The result is a long, springy, golden-brown fibre with excellent tensile strength and natural resistance to rot and salt water.
It is widely used for mattress and upholstery filling, rope making, geotextiles and soil erosion control. Supplied loose and compressed, free of sand and husk pieces. Sold by weight, so you can order exactly what your job needs.
