Quality products made from natural coir materials — fibre, rope, mats, pith and twine, processed at our own yard in Alappuzha and sold direct to growers, workshops and households across India.
Coir is the coarse fibre packed between the hard inner shell of a coconut and its outer skin. Soaked in backwater for weeks, then beaten and combed, it becomes one of the most useful natural fibres there is — strong enough for marine rope, springy enough for mattresses, absorbent enough to grow plants in.
We work with growers across the Alappuzha backwaters, buying husk at fair rates and processing it ourselves. What leaves our yard is graded, weighed and packed by the same people who cleaned it.
