Ten rolls of 700 GSM woven coir netting — 500 sq m of slope and embankment stabilisation.
Ten rolls of woven 700 GSM coir geotextile, each two metres by twenty-five metres, covering five hundred square metres of slope in one consignment. Supplied with anchor pegs at the density the specification calls for.
Woven from long-grade retted fibre, not needle-punched waste, so the mesh holds its aperture under load and does not unravel at a cut edge. It takes the energy out of rainfall on a bare batter, holds seed and topsoil in place, and then breaks down over three to five years — by which time the planting it protected is doing the job instead.
Used on highway cuttings, canal banks, pond embankments and landscaped terracing. Fully biodegradable, so nothing has to be lifted afterwards and nothing persists in the soil.
